Day Two of #RoadtoGES Heartland Inspires Innovation, Promotes Entrepreneurship

Hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, and public and private sector leaders from across the American Heartland, as well as from around the world, continued their discussions on ways to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the United States and around the world.

Administrator of the Small Business Administration Linda McMahon delivered keynote remarks on day two focused on ways the Small Business Administration is working to shape a strong American economy by supporting both rural and urban businesses and making it easier for entrepreneurs to do business abroad.

Attendees then dispersed into engaging sessions and panel discussions on such topics as “Agtech Innovation and Deployment,” “Investing in the Heartland,” and “How Government and Entrepreneurs Can Work Together.”

The afternoon featured the #RoadtoGES Pitch Showcase. Several entrepreneurs shared their innovative business ideas on health, agricultural, and connectivity solutions and made the case for why their businesses were ready to go to the next level. In the end, six entrepreneurs earned Golden Tickets to attend the 2019 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in the Hague for the innovation solutions they proposed.
