The Road to the 2019 Global Entrepreneurship Summit (#RoadtoGES) Heartland kicked off in Overland Park, Kansas on March 18, 2019. The event brought together more than 450 entrepreneurs, investors, and public and private sector leaders from across the American Heartland to network with each other, take part in a pitch showcase, and join dozens of cutting edge discussions.
In his keynote address, Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo highlighted the importance of championing entrepreneurship, innovation, and free enterprise at home and abroad.
#RoadtoGES & @theGESsummit are two examples of how our economic diplomacy efforts align with U.S. interests and values. We are proud to champion entrepreneurship, innovation, and free enterprise, and we want to help deals and partnerships to take wing. #StateDeptStateside #Kansas pic.twitter.com/OQU8JSjwkt— Secretary Pompeo (@SecPompeo) March 18, 2019
