Assistant to the President for National Security Strategy, Ambassador John Bolton, delivered remarks laying out the Trump Administration's new Africa strategy at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC on December 13.
Ambassador Bolton emphasized that President Trump’s Africa strategy is the result of an intensive interagency process, and reflects the core tenets of President Trump’s foreign policy doctrine.
Under the President’s new Africa Strategy, we will expand economic ties on the basis of mutual respect, help African nations take control of their economic destinies & security needs, & ensure that U.S. foreign assistance in the region gets results for the American people.
