In the latest episode of "The Readout", State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert talked with the producers of the Oscar nominated documentary "Last Men in Aleppo" in Washington, DC.

During their discussion, the White Helmets discussed the systematic targeting of volunteers and other groups in Syria that they endured and shared accounts of their efforts to rescue innocent civilians and save lives on the ground. Spokesperson Nauert emphasized the importance of highlighting the dire humanitarian situation on the ground in Syria, as well as the role of the international community in resolving the crisis in Syria.
