Interested in a career on the front lines of today’s most pressing global issues, perhaps at the UN or another international organization? Such a career could be within your reach, and this week the Department of State is launching a new and improved International Organization Careers website to help U.S. citizens explore exciting and varied opportunities.
The new website features a searchable database tool to help you find job openings in specific organizations, areas of expertise, and various locations around the world. The website will soon include video features and other interactive information from current and former employees about life on the job. The site also includes special sections for students and young professionals and for those who might be seeking short-term or contract opportunities. You can even sign-up for job alerts to let you know when jobs that fit your interests have been posted.
International organizations are often looking for qualified candidates in a wide array of fields, including international affairs, administration, architecture, computer science, and legal affairs. Visit the new site to learn more and let us know what you think on Twitter using #IOCareers.
