I liked "Matters of State" best. It's classy, to the point and kind of a play on words.

"USDOSFAB" ??

Since folks @ State like abreviations, let's invent a new one...short for;

United States Deptartment Of State Foreign Affairs Blog

Or "DOSnotes"??

Oh I really don't have a creative inkling at the moment what you'all might call it from now on obviously...but I kind of like;

"Passport"

'cause this blog kind of opens a door to other countries for us as citizens, and folks from other countries come to this blog and comment and see what up with us, and what this gov. is up to.

And hopefully it gets more interactive in the conversational realm between folks @ State and the public.

Link the daily DOS briefing to the pages of this blog for public follow-up question and/or commentary to keep things timely across a broad spectrum of issues ongoing.

And bring back "The Question of the Week"

What's in a name?

Well that all depends on whether it inspires the mind to do some travelling at the speed of thought now doesn't it?

(chuckle)

Theres an old saying, "if it works don't fix it" whats wrong with the current blog name? I like it and its fitting for what it does. My vote is to keep it the same.
