Today, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton participated in a press availability following the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2011 Ministerial Meetings in Honolulu, Hawaii. The APEC forum is the premier economic organization in the Asia-Pacific region. Established in 1989, APEC now comprises 21 economies that account for 43 percent of world trade and 55 percent of global GDP.
