It was big smiles and blue skies as Papa Noel arrived in the Bolivian communities of Curahuara de Carangas, Lagunas, Rosapata, Lercos, and Sulla Uta Salla Collana yesterday to deliver hundreds of toys. Santa, aka Carlos Creamer, the son of U.S. Charge d'Affaires to BoliviaJohn Creamer, was greeted with a happy "Bienvenido!" at each stop as he distributed presents purchased with funds from the American British International Association and other private donations.
The winter holiday season is a busy time for gift-giving programs the world over, including at many U.S. embassies where the U.S. Marine Corps administers the Toys for Tots program.
