President Obama at G-20 Summit in Toronto

Leaders of the Group of Eight (G-8) met in Muskoka, Canada on June 25-26, 2010. Following the summit, the leaders issued a joint declaration:

"Our annual summit takes place as the world begins a fragile recovery from the greatest economic crisis in generations. What binds the G-8 together is a shared vision that major global challenges must and can be addressed effectively through focus, commitment and transparency, and in partnership with other concerned members of the global community.

"The G-8 has demonstrated the capacity to design credible approaches to meet the challenges of our times. For over thirty years, it has shown that its collective will can be a powerful catalyst for sustainable change and progress. At Muskoka in 2010, we are focussing on an effective agenda to address key challenges in development, international peace and security, and environmental protection."

Leaders at the 2009 L'Aquila G-8 Summit committed to reversing underinvestment in agricultural development and endorsed five key principles that were subsequently adopted at the Rome World Food Security Summit. Now known as the Rome Principles, these points constitute the foundation for collective, global action and for the Obama Administration food security initiative, Feed the Future.

At the Muskoka G-8 Summit, President Obama reiterated the strong commitment of the United States to meet L'Aquila pledges and applauded the progress that has been made to implement this initiative. Read more here.

and i hope everyone at Dipnote is ready for
another great week..:)

Anyways,My thoughts on the (G-8)Summit.

They have made alot of good decisions. Especially when it comes too, spending more
on Agriculture,Farming and the environment.

I think, the other Leaders in the (G-20) are also, doing an exellent job in these fields.

Nice Work,Obama Administration and Leaders.:)
