I'm Kurt Campbell, the Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, and I'm here at Andrews Air Force Base. This is the hub of U.S. operations for the President, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense -- all of our planes here for official travel are located on this base, Air Force One.

"Right behind me is the Secretary of State's plane. This is the plane she's going to take throughout Asia for the course of the next couple of days. Flying to Alaska today, and then on to Tokyo, and then down to Shanghai. It's a long trip -- almost 24 hours.

"I have to tell you, you get up early in the morning, you pack your bag, you go through all the hassle of getting ready for one of these trips. But when you get out here, and you see the color of the plane of the United States with the seal of the union, you just can't help but get excited to looking forward to the trip. We'll have more for you in a few minutes. Thank you very much."
