On February 4, 2009, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs William Burns met with P-5+1 counterparts to discuss the approach that the international community will take toward Iran. When asked about Iran, Secretary Clinton said, “Iran has an opportunity to step up and become a productive member of the international community. Dear Sec. Clinton: Shouldn't we for starters stop calling them 'pariahs' and refer to them with something a little more respectful, like for instance, 'alienated nations'?

Maybe you coud open up a discussion for finding suitable terminology. This would be more in accordance with Pres. Obama's assurance of "civilized" and "respectful" discussion/debate. It would help to move the U.S. to that position of respect that we aspire to take it back to in the world.
