Pertinent regions

On April 9, Secretary Kerry and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sat down for one of what would prove to be many face-to-face meetings on the balcony of a Jerusalem hotel. It overlooks the historic Old City, and both leaders have remarked about its symbolism as they work with Palestinian leaders to reach a peace agreement. Secretary Kerry later presented a signed copy of this photo to the Prime Minister, a visual reminder of the importance of their work.
