This is the fourth in a series of four videos introducing the Fifth Summit of the Americas. The Summit will be held in Trinidad and Tobago April 17-19, 2009 under the theme of "Securing our Citizens Future by Promoting Human Prosperity, Energy Security and Environmental Sustainability."
How can I participate in meeting the Summit of the Americas goals? You don’t have to be one of the 34 national leaders attending the fifth summit to help tackle the meeting’s agenda. Every person in the region can get involved. Learn how in this video and visit the Fifth Summit of the Americas Digital Town Hall to learn, share and discuss how we all can work together throughout the Americas.

I really enjoyed these four videos -- beyond being informative, it was nice to see how summitry (usually reserved for Government leaders) can be influenced and supported by everyday citizens. Nice to see that someone is taking the time to explain the relevance of senior-level foreign policy efforts to average Americans. It's not just talk -- there's action too!
I hope to see more video blogging and how-to clips on DipNote in the future!

I liked this filmette. Especially spurring was the detail that one recycled can gives the electricity to run a TV for 3 hours, tho I'm not sure this calculates in the transportation and processing costs. (I'd be interested to know.)
It would be nice if the "scientists" in that pict weren't all white people.
Generally, I was re-inspired to be more useful.
I'm veryvery glad for this howcast material. I think engaging with the our hemisphere is very huge in importance to the future.
