The international community does have the right to protect the citizens of the nation, if that government fails too. However it must be collective action and a mission that has a post war plan, after the intervention.

UN Blues are being set up as targets. Maybe UN should use them to set up the bad guys?

So many people have died in genocides. So many women have been raped. So many families have been torn apart. All while the international community stood aside and often did little or nothing. When tens or hundreds of lives are at stake, the natural aversion to act against the questionable concept of sovereignty should be overcome. Our failure, to date, has been to respect sovereignty more than human life. Until we're better at acting when we should, we ought to act to protect people first, then states.
