I first read about Hadizatou in TIME's 100 Influential Issue, and I am floored by her experiences. As a member of a world-wide human rights organization, Hadizatou's story is one for the books: a violation of international human rights that should never be ignored. It sickens me to know that we are now living in the 21st century, yet the people of this world still have not eradicated slavery.
