President Barack Obama approved an additional $155 million of humanitarian aid and announced it himself in order to underscore to the Syrian people and the international community the U.S. commitment to assisting Syrians and other refugees in need of immediate, lifesaving assistance as a result of Assad's brutality.

I can't help but wonder how much of this aid money will find its way into logistical support for al-Qaeda and related armed grouplets, just as it has in Libya and North Africa.

Is he crazy? 4 Americans were killed. $365 MILLION total. I'm sorry. What happened to Americans and standing up for THEIR dignity? We have people "huddling in buildings" and living in cardboard boxes, too, and yet we still send money overseas. And we can't afford it.
